About the job
We are looking for a highly skilled Test Automation Engineer with experience in testing on mobile applications to join our Engineering Team.
They will be involved with every phase of the testing process, including planning, creation, and maintenance of the mobile automation test suite.
They will ensure that the final product meets the high-quality standards and requirements expected of a financial product.
They will collaborate closely with the product and development teams to share and communicate information with all stakeholders.
About you
You are a problem solver and are not shy to share ideas and solutions with your team and colleagues.
You have a strong attention to detail, think like a customer versus an engineer, and you do not mind being involved in multiple projects.
You stay up to date with current technologies and QA methodologies and have some experience in mobile test automation.

Job Responsibilities:
- Analysing and decomposing complex software systems and collaborating with other engineers to influence design and testability.
- Creating and executing manual and automated test cases using Appium, Postman, Browserstack, TestRail, Selenium, etc
- Identifying test scenarios that are critical and repetitive and automating them.
- Working creatively and efficiently in troubleshooting and resolution of production issues.
- Exploring non-functional test areas such as performance, security, and usability.
- Integrating test cycles with CI/CD pipelines.
Person Specification:
- Previous QA Automation experience with mobile applications using Appium (or similar tool kit)
- Proven knowledge of other QA disciplines like: API, database, performance, security, etc
- Strong troubleshooting skills for creating and investigating failing test plans and test cases
- Strong coding ability using Java, JavaScript, Python, etc to automate test cases
- Experience in using RESTful or GraphQL APIs, (experience with Postman a bonus)
- Experience with functional, integration, and regression testing
